I've never seen She-Ra, so I assume she groomed a cat without getting scratched or bitten. That would explain why she looks so smug.
Been a while since I last saw the show, but I'm pretty sure she got scratched and bitten plenty of times.
But when the cat comes to you for cuddles you feel smug anyway.
