Im sure theyd say they're just bringing fans "fresh (read: cheaper) talent."

According to the Ruth Bat-Seraph back story, she was A Black Widow, which jibes with what was shown already, as the BW movie makes it clear she was one of several Black Widows.

Right, I did watch BNW, just didn't see Black Widow, so my assumption was it was a returning character when they mentioned she was a widow, but nope lol
