TV networks pay out the nose for exclusive rights to broadcast the local games. Those networks don't want the league to just stream the games online to local fans, after the networks paid tons of money for that viewership.
Hm, so the offer is fractured all over the place.
The guy in the video was in bad luck, because his team never really got a reliable network to buy the right for the team, and the NBA would still not show the games due to blackout policy. What a mess.
