Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the former Senate Republican leader who is in large part responsible for helping destroy American democracy, will announce on Thursday that he is not running for reelection, the Associated Press reported.

Excited to see what kind of insane bigoted right-wing freak Kentucky sends up next. Rand Paul will be a tough act to follow, but if Florida, Texas, and Ohio are any indication then the sky is the limit.

Currently, the sane Kentuckians are hoping for Andy Beshear, the well respected current democratic governor. The other potential (more concerning) could be Andy Barr, a Trump praising lunatic and current house of representatives member. There's likely others, but as far as I see it, it'll likely be Andy that wins.
