Done yesterday! The remaining bit is using WhatsApp with family and moving them all to something else...
Getting out of the Google and Amazon spheres is proving trickier but already changed my Pixel's OS and transferred my cloud to a tag digital next cloud account.
Lucky you, my bank still needs Google PlayStore for updates... Aurora and F-Droid is not possible as of right now. Maybe I should switch to cardTAN to avoid the app on the phone completely
why wouldn't aurora work? it's a play store reimplementation, i've never heard of being unable to update apps via it
At least my bank requires two factor authentification and uses as custom app for that.
What OS did you move your Pixel to?
Graphene. /e/OS is European, but unfortunately its security implementations are dangerously outdated. It still doesn't enable re-locking your bootloader.
