We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.
A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

So better to just keep wasting money? You know that is basically accepting corruption right? You know for sure that the average American will not profit from that.
And defunding things that help people just because you disagree with it isn't corruption? Even when you know all this money they are "saving" is just going right back into their pockets? Lemme know when you get your check in the mail and maybe then I'll believe you.
Charity should be a private endeavor, not a collective one, and it shouldn't be a partisan decision. I want to decide for myself what I consider a good cause.
You are free to decide that. Always have been.
That is, if you were American.
Fuck off, straight up. The government exists to ensure a tolerable baseline existence for all people under is preview.
That user was apparently the one that posted the nazi shit that got all the mods here removed lol
Nazis shit in a conservative space? I'm shocked, shocked! Well, not that shocked.
I don’t feel like flight controllers, nuclear security staff and park rangers is wasting money.
Have you seen the list of saving on the DOGE site? It is already a very long list. Pretty sure there will be something on there that is worth keeping. Cutting something doesn't mean it can't be changed. Musk also re-hired some of the Twitter employees after cutting too deep.
Mistakes will be made and there is a lot of transparency about his approach. In Europe they are doing the opposite. You should be glad - you don't live here. It is a bureaucratic nightmare.
Turns out, they are wildly over reporting what they are "saving", due to gross incompetence.
You don't even live in the US but for some reason have opinions on this? Oh.
Anyway, after they fired 300 people from the National Nuclear Security Agency, they were "oh oops DOE didn't realize those people oversaw the safety of our nuclear arsenal" and tried to hire them back, but for some idiotic reason said they didn't know how to contact them. Employees often aren't keen to go back to employers that suddenly severed them for no reason. And how insanely stupid is that? Maybe these "DOGE" morons should be a little more careful, not "cut first, rehire later". It's not that easy. There is NOT a lot of transparency about this, in fact. If you really think it's about efficiency or savings you are misinformed or perhaps deluded.
Do you think letting a foreign hatchet man loose on the government to hack it up any way he wants is the way to fix government corruption and waste?
You don't like foreigners?
I don't like non elected not natural born citizens to have free rein on our institutions. More powerful than the president, but not eligible to be president. You did not answer the question.
