Absolutely, yes. And i strongly wishes that, despite the events of the last few years, that we don't descend into another world wide war.

"Tit for tat" and "Generous tit for tat" strategies would be optimal to minimize conflicts.
Now there must be lots of qualified people evaluating and deciding what is a valid tit for each tat. Of course, i am not qualified for that, most persons wouldn't be.
