No. It was a combination of it being 6 a.m., this being a shitpost community, and autocorrect.
Also it's very ignorant to assume someone makes a typo just because of their nationality.

to be fair to this person finding out someone you love paid for 4chan pass would be absolutely devastating

That is part of the application criteria. You have to have an hero'd before they will every consider inviting you to apply.
It remains loginless but you have to verify your email address or wait 900 seconds before every post.

This only applies for the first post, you're probably deleting their cookie that tracks your browser.
I've never actually waited the 900 seconds.
