Most countries including China handled COVID better than the US did.

Um, did you miss the time when they bolted people inside their apartments which resulted in people burning to death in apartment fires? Or the massive amount of misinformation they spread regarding COVID? Or that they put several journalists in jail for reporting on COVID?

I don't think it's functionally possible for any country to have handled COVID worse than China did.
