Im sure they are. Its just i dont trust a chip in my head capable of controlling my body. I want foss software with security better than qubes before i risk becoming a zombie.

I agree until there's at least open source software to run them. I would not want anything to do with it. Honestly, though, I would prefer both open source hardware and software for this if at all possible.

Fair i would trust intelme or amdpsp even less in my head than i do in my computer.

I haven't been following this and didn't see any mention in the article, what makes you say it can control your body? The only applications I've seen mentioned read from the body to control external devices, and manipulating the brain/body (with precision) would be a much harder problem I'd think.

The experiments they did in pigs they where literaly controlling the body of the pig to make it walk.

Its a hard problem that they have already solved using AI (machine learning but u gotta get the buzzword in there). I would be far more inclined to get one if it was provably single direction only tho.
