I’m planning on bringing this department up for discussion any time I talk with a ‘true conservative’ Republican.
Please explain how the best way to improve government efficiency is to establish and staff an new department and give it two leaders.
Doge smells a lot like something that could become a Sicherheitsdienst in case Trump goes totalitarian.

I mean the whole thing is stupid but your question isn't very hard to answer for them.

I forgot the name, but supposedly there's a department that essentially already exists that serves this function so it's extra stupid.
It is the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
