- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing other users of being bots or paid actors.
- No memes, trolling, misinformation, or low-effort posts/comments (including reposts). If you see posts like this that anger you, do not engage. Report, block, and live a happier life than they do. Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules and use critical thinking when reading, posting, and commenting. Users that repeatedly have comments or posts removed, weaponize reports, or violate the code of conduct, will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users. The reason(s) behind moderator action(s) are publicly available through the Modlog.

So, what happens if he violates the gag order? Can they lock him up or is just a pithy fine?
If he violates the bond terms, they can throw him right into jail.
Great. Fingers crossed that he's stupid/impulsive enough to do it and the judge actually has the chutzpa to put him in the clink.

The shitstorm of logistics to make that happen is so far beyond what anyone would actually be willing to do.
Laws just don't apply to the wealthy, as much as they ought to.

He hasn't got in any trouble yet for violating gag orders. I'm not hopeful about justice being served this time around.
I feel like the fact that it's an actual bond condition this time might motivate the judge to actually enforce it, but I understand your pessimism.
How great would that be to watch? I don't drink, but I think I would make an exception that night.
If Trump ever does have to do the walk of shame, I'm saving that clip on my phone as an antidepressant.
The judge has every right to revoke bail and lock him up if he breaks those terms. I'm not betting any money on that actually happening, but if the law were applied equally he'd be denied bail and in prison until trial already.
I've been watching some news reporting on it and apparently the main concern is "where the line is" when it comes to his commentary. As a presidential candidate, he's still allowed to attack his political opponents, but what happens if he attacks Mike Pence, who is both a contending GOP candidate and a witness in his case? Most commentators I've seen are saying the comment would have to be an egregious violation of the order for him to be sent to jail without enormous political upheaval (I mean, a certain portion of his base will go apeshit no matter what, but you get the idea). I suspect Trump will do what he always does and try to test that line. I really hope he miscalculates.
