Alright carrots were a misfire. not even a knuckle long. Zucchini is looking better now that I remember to harvest it early enough. Tomatoes finally have a bit of fruit so I've thrown up the net around them.
May I present the Resident Evil Boss I grew a awhile back
oh man, too compact soil? i think my little chubs just didnt have enough depth.
Sprouting a cut off top. Soil ought have been plenty soft.
I will throw my only carrot from this year into the ring and humble you all!
Thats more carrot than I've grown!
Honestly don't think I've had a single decent carrot over the years it makes me wonder about how many carrots are discarded in large scale Ag. (or that I'm doing something completely wrong).
I've never had any luck, they're either 2cm long or all just tops. And yes, how many are discarded because even the odd bunch ones are pretty straight.
