A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.
Rules
- All posts must be showerthoughts
- The entire showerthought must be in the title
- Avoid politics

Yup. Even when I disagree, I prefer to disagree with people on the fediverse than on other media.
Disagreement here is more of an opportunity to either learn or educate than almost anywhere else from what I've seen
or be downvoted, namecalled and perhaps have death threatened on you because you disagree with one point and are therefore the enemy
I feel like that's a lot more likely in other places than it is here
