The amount of sales-related emails and texts I’ve been getting is staggering. More than any previous year I feel. These businesses ask for a mobile for an online order and then it gets used to spam promotions. Mass unsubscribing is in order.

Only slightly related, but my monthly average for spam emails on my main Gmail account is 100. Early last year, I got 22,000 in a single month. And they auto delete after 28 days...

Then, 2 months later, they all vanished and it's been back down to about 100 ever since
