The problem lies within the political parties and the nomination process. The parties are easily corrupted and taken over from within.

We need a system where it is easier for new parties to form and get elected.

I think thats really just down to the media. Like the media is how newer parties get known so they can actually capture the vote, and its also why the LNP keep getting voted in so frequently.

They could seriously benefit from preferential voting, too.

Edit: Just checked, they are actively undoing progress in this area in Alaska. Lol.
