How do I put clothes back on naked NPC party members in a full multiplayer game? (lemmy.catasaur.xyz)

My friends and I started a multiplayer game with a full party (4 people) and we took a few NPCs clothes to wear for ourself.

However, we can't figure out how to put normal clothes back on the NPCs because we can't actually add them to our party. Even if one of us disconnects from the session, there's not an extra party slot.

Now several of the NPC party members are just naked at the campsite. How do we give them clothes again?

Fuck. I certainly hope that's fixed in the very next patch. How did that pass QC?!
