Bullshit. I’m also on the older end of that demographic and it’s time to pay attention to your health

  • more people my age are starting to have serious health issues that are important to discover early
  • doctors are starting to pay attention to details and order more tests.

Some of them are a bit late. For example I know several former concert goers my age with hearing issues catching up with them. Now I pay attention when my Apple Watch warns about dangerous noise levels. However hearing issues can be from a lifetime of accumulated damage, so paying attention starting a decade or two ago would have been even better

Edit: when I lost weight a bunch of years back, my motivation was being better able to play with my kids but the most important tool was tracking: my vitals, my exercise, my intake.

Currently I’m battling sleep issues, mostly self-inflicted but the tracking is an important tool toward fixing that
