@BeAware@social.beaware.live A foundation like this isn't "control". It's a foundation, not a governing body. If you don't like corporations, have can you tolerate using the internet at all? Its infrastructure is riddled with corporate interest. ISPs, CDNs, cloud providers, telecom and cable companies, IXPs, hardware manufacturers, data centre operators. Despite that, we do still have an open, interoperable network of networks that is not controlled by any one of them.
You can criticize capitalism from inside capitalism, you know? The feudal lords who owned the pitchforks and guillotines in France must have noted the irony.
