So I just signed up for Mbin at Fedia.IO, and part of the registration says it will send out an email to complete the registration. Great!

It's been like 10 minutes with nothing in "all mail" and nothing in the trash or spam folders either. Is this something I need to wait a while for, or has something gone wrong, and I should contact their staff somehow?

I activated your account. I will figure out email when I get back home in about 90 minutes.

Greetings from my new activated account! Still learning how to use this thing, but I'm liking it a lot.

Mbin has some rough edges still but I like the interface much better than lemmy (I also run a lemmy instance so feel ok comparing them)

Is registration for fedia.io currently working? I've trying to set up an account for a couple of days. When I fill out the registration page and hit "register" nothing happens.

Based on posts of !fedia@fedia.io , you are not the only one

A new version of Mbin was released I think yesterday. Maybe it has something to do with the update.

ok - there was a problem with the mbin queues on fedia - I think that may have caused the problem with registrations. Can you give it another shot? Also, if that doesn't work for whatever reason, please shoot me an email to jerry@infosec.exchange so I can debug the issue.
