Basically, what the title says. Do you use any app, that is proprietary, but either has no OSS alternatives or they're all not good enough? If there is an alternative, what keeps you from switching?

basic photo editor to crop, rotate, color correct, add text

There are so many of these it's not even funny, and yes FOSS ones. Same for video

Also Mull > Fennec and Mulch > Chromium
