Sub.club thinks premium feeds could also serve other use cases, like supporting helpful bots or generating funds to help maintain a community's Mastodon server, for instance.

Even in porn, people either buy month sub and scrape everything or buy lifetime access and since everything is owned by a few big VC companies, there is minimal risk of them closing.

That makes it worse. Look at other popular subscription services around user content. They all provide access to full history. Be it Patreon or OnlyFans or someting else. It sounds like this project will be dead on arrival, no matter how much VC funded promoters want to make it something people use.
