Surprising nobody, Reddit Corp threatening a gaming sub of a fanatically anti-corporate video game doesn't go as they'd hoped.

The mod team have basically decided that "Fuck Reddit" is the way forward, and appear to have practically total support of their entire sub for the choice taken.

Presumably, we're about to get a Cyberpunk community on Fediverse soon. :p

Honestly even at launch the game was a blast. it needed a lot more polish and Q&A no doubt, but the core experience was there. And sometimes the glitches were half the fun.

Yeah it didn't live up to the unrealistic hype (like every NPC on screen would have a routine and schedule for their day, etc) and the bugs were pretty obvious, but I still had a blast playing it at launch.

I'll probably wait a couple of years and then play it through again with the dlc so it feels a bit more fresh.

Man, just the new skill trees, rules changes, and vehicular combat is enough for me to go right back in.

One of the problems was that most people played on the PS4 as ps5s were scarce. I played it on release on a PS5 and it wasn't a problem. Didn't see many bugs at all.
