The Melbourne Yarn sounds like either a knitting group or a bunch of boring old men sitting around having painfully slow conversations that go nowhere. Something more active and exciting would be better. Maybe the Melbourne Choose Your Own Adventure thread.

Those things are honestly terrifying to me.

When I was in nepal on a school trip way back, we were going up single track on a cliff face and a whole lot of them were being herded down. they simply don't care if you're in the way, you have to step aside. I was caught on the wrong side of the track (with about 1km drop) and my life flashed before me.

I still get nightmares about that heh.
