I don’t see this circus ending well for Reddit. It’s already caused an exodus of hundreds of thousands with the api changes killing the good apps and the continued aggression towards its remaining users and moderators is just going to make it worse.

I think I saw something like 3.5% down compared to others closer to 1.5% so, for whatever reason, Reddit is disproportionately suffering compared to its peers by a factor of roughly 2.

I’d be curious to see the numbers. Has it made an impact? Even the blackout had a pretty minor temporary drop in activity.
It has been nice to watch this place grow. Hopefully Reddit’s continued missteps continue to guide people here.
