Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has accused Russian lawmakers from neighboring regions of attempting to commission his assassination, and threatened them with a “blood feud” unless they prove otherwise, state news agency TASS reported.

TASS cited Chechen-language comments by Kadyrov, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to a meeting of Chechen security officials. Video of the meeting was published on Kadyrov’s personal Telegram channel on Wednesday.

The news agency translated Kadyrov’s comments as: “There are witnesses, there are people from whom they tried to commission, whom they asked how much they would take for the order.”

Defense forces of Ukraine hit the Khanskaya airfield.

Tonight, fire damage was inflicted on the airfield "Khanskaya" in the Republic of Adygea of the Russian Federation. In particular, an ammunition warehouse located on the territory of a military facility was hit. In the area of the target, the work of enemy anti-aircraft was noted, ignition was recorded.

It is known that Su-34 and Su-27 aircraft were based at the airfield. More detailed information about the consequences of the damage is being clarified.

The task was carried out by the forces and means of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The joint combat work of all components of the Defense Forces on important targets of the Russian Armed Forces will continue.

Russia has sustained over 600,000 casualties since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Defense News reported on Oct. 9, citing senior Pentagon officials.

The accelerating losses are disproportionate with Moscow's territorial gains, a senior U.S. defense official said on Oct. 9.

"Russian losses, again both killed and wounded in action, in just the first year of the war exceeded the total of all Soviet losses in any conflict since World War II combined," the official said.

The mounting casualties at the front may hinder the Russian military's recruitment efforts, the official said, putting pressure on the Kremlin to initiate a new wave of mobilization.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully hit the Shahed UAV storage base

Today, the strike group of the forces and equipment group of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with units of the Security Service of Ukraine, attacked the Shahed UAV storage base near Oktyabrsky settlement in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.

According to available information, about 400 attack drones were stored there. According to the results of objective control, an accurate hit on the target was recorded. A secondary detonation was observed on the territory of the object.

The destruction of the Shahed UAV storage base will significantly reduce the ability of the Russian occupiers to terrorize peaceful residents of Ukrainian towns and villages.

The defense forces of Ukraine struck the military arsenal of the Russian occupiers.

Tonight, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, inflicted fire damage on the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, located in the Bryansk region.

According to available information, ammunition for missile and artillery weapons, including those that came from the DPRK, as well as guided aerial bombs, were stored on the territory of the warehouse. A significant part of them was located under the open sky.

Explosions were recorded on the territory of the object. It is known that the local authorities have blocked the road in the area of the arsenal. The results of combat work are being clarified.

Damage to such arsenals creates serious logistical problems for the Russian army, which significantly reduces the offensive potential of the invaders in threatening areas.

In Odesa, the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service, together with law enforcement agencies, detained the USKO MFU dry cargo under the flag of Cameroon, which was illegally entering the ports of the temporarily occupied Crimea to carry out commercial activities. According to the court's decision, the vessel was transferred to the ownership of the state of Ukraine.

The detention took place in July 2024, when units of the Maritime Guard as part of an interdepartmental group discovered violations of navigation in the water areas under temporary occupation. The Dnipro District Court of Kyiv decided to transfer the vessel to the National Asset Management Agency (ARMA).

The ship's captain is charged under Part 2 of Art. 332-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in violation of the procedure for entering the occupied territories with the purpose of causing damage to state interests. Due to violation of Ukrainian and international law, the vessel will now be under state management for further use.

Ukraine continues to firmly defend its sovereignty in territorial waters, reminding that all ports of Crimea and the Sea of Azov remain closed for commercial activities. Any operations in these ports violate international norms and the legislation of Ukraine.
