It's been a amazing to watch this community grow on my humble little possum themed instance. As far as I can tell, it's the largest FFXIV community on Lemmy so far. Neat!

In an attempt to be proactive and anticipating more growth, I'd like to try and bring on a couple more moderators to help keep things going smoothly. There haven't been any issues that need moderation so far on !ffxiv - but it doesn't hurt to be prepared, especially if this community continues to grow.

Playing through the game for the first time as an arcanist and I’ve reached level 28, though I’ve only hit level 21 on the MSQ.

I’ve constantly being level sync’d and was wondering if it might be better for me to level up another class so I’m not constantly being unable to use my skills.

So for the longest time my character has been a male highlander Hyur. I made him to kinda look like me. I usually tank in DF, and would receive a middling amount of commendations after a run.

About a week ago I decided to completely change stuff up. I fantasia'd into a male Viera, and candidly made him gorgeous. Also made an attractive adventure plate for him too.

And ever since I've changed, the comms just seem to flow in. Way more than they used to, and I'm still the same mediocre tank.

But now I'm a pretty bunny boy. And it seems people like pretty bunny boys. I had no idea.

I'm interested in what kind of people hang around in here since the community is so small and so new.

How do you spend your time in game? Are you a raidlogger with a static, or tend to chat in your FC? Grinding mounts, getting gil, buying a house? Any Eureka/Bozja enjoyers?

When did you start playing? What's your favorite fight on any difficulty, or other content?

How many hours and characters do you have, are you on the free trial, leveling or looking for help and advice in game, or do you have your mentor crown already?

What region do you play on? What do you think of addons?

I started raiding in Eden's Verse so I don't have a ton of experience compared to others. I will say I think as a single tier Anabaseios is the one I've enjoyed the most. 11 is a bit lame and I'm still not a huge fan of body checks, but I absolutely loved 9/10/12. Abyssos was alright, I loved 5 and 8. Asphodelos was kinda meh overall. What did you all think about it?

P9s has 2 main strats for lc1 and it looks like jp strat is taking over pf (at least on European servers).
