Old symbol:

Somebody on a Lego-based Discord server was trying to include this symbol in their MOC instructions, but Stud.io for some reason doesn’t have that as a feature. Image search results were limited as well, so I acquired the best resolution images of the new and old symbols that I could find and LukeSkydragon on the Discord whipped up these clean transparent png versions. To add these symbols to your MOC instructions on Stud.io, save the images from this post to your computer, open up Instruction Maker Mode, go to Page Design, click the button that says +Insert, click on Image, and select the images.

Perimeter Defence Mech / Prototype Dreadnought.

Leaned heavily into the Spyrius theme (6889 was my first ever set), and building at Technic Minifig scale is always fun!

Additional shots (apologies for the quality, improvised set...):

Update - reworked the canopy while trying to maintain the Pyramid Head lurch:

I'm just getting back into Legos and recieved the 10317 Defender kit for the holidays. I would rather it have white wheels (I don't mind painting) and found that there was a past model wheel that came in white. The only difference is the axle style. Instead of the cross pattern it looks more like a half cross. What is this pattern called? Is it compatible with the cross pattern? It looks like it could be.

I’ve been planning to get one of these as a Christmas gift, but Lego’s shop sold out before I could get the funds together. Are there any left or in the wild.

I know it’s a long shot since they’re stopping production on this one, but I have to try.

I honestly feel like it would have been better if they didn’t even make the 2025 figure. Such a downgrade and missing key details to the character.

What are your favorite and least favorite figures? Any other downgrades as bad as this one that you can think of?

The first 300 customers received this custom printed torso. Even though the queue to enter stretched to almost behind the building when I got in line and I had to wait 1 1/2 hours after the opening to even enter, I was still able to acquire one of these torsos. To celebrate the opening, there was a giant inflatable(?) minifigure in the parking lot, a live string band outside, free coffee and build-a-minifigure, displays by MichLUG, and Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader cosplayers. So glad to have a B&M nearby (but my wallet won’t be happy about it)

My first ever LEGO set was this Roadster*. I add the asterisk because it was not actually this roadster. Mine was Mitchell Mouse, not Moe, and not Michael. I am trying to find the pieces to mine, because I remember the doors, and the body being red. The same color as the chassis.

My instructions are long gone, however in one of my boxes of instructions in my storage shed there are pieces of this booklet.

Does anyone else recall their set being named Mitchell? I cannot find anything to back ups this claim other than mine and my father’s memory of it.
