According to this article (and others from their last election) about 3 million. That's only 5% of domestic voters, but if you look at how close the lection was and how Erdogan cultivates the diaspora, it matters.

I don't think Turkiye is alone in allowing expats to vote, but once folks receive citizenship in a new country this seems problematic IMO.

The paywall is strong with this one! I wasn't able to get around it.

Everything I have read in the past has indicated that until something changes with Turkiye's overseas voters, Erdogan will remain in power. It doesn't seem like he needs a majority at home.

Thanks! Now I think that when you said "card is online" you meant the SIM card, not credit card. I use an alternative OS that, as I understand it, does a little to offset the tracking but it is, indeed, outside of my scope! I mostly have my phone on airplane mode, even away from home, but of course not always. I do know that this OS eliminates the ability for the phone to call home when on airplane mode.

whenever that card is online

Do you mean when the card is an active card viable for use? Or stored in the phone somehow? I'm curious what online means and if I am doing it... I don't have any payments connected to a mobile phone but I do have a SIM card, probably paid for with a now expired card.

30 years ago, we could buy these things that would supposedly block radar speed readers. I wonder if they are still around and if they would work on readers and the flock stuff in general.

I have never seen any World Cup games in person, but I hope these are the lowest attendance ever. Not only are they spread out over a large space, they are not laying out guidelines that they could.

in a market in which entertainment is the most developed in the world, so we have to apply market rates

if you were to sell tickets at the price which is too low, these tickets will be resold at a much higher price

These games are world market. The US could easily host them (I think) in one or two cities that are close to each other. They could also just, maybe, not host them.

Well, I did it. I am sure I have more work to do but I do not have to worry about the other stuff. Thanks for your encouragement!
