Was this not controversial??
I have no strong opinion on whether this was or was not intended to be a nazi salute. The bigger issue in my opinion is how Musk reacted to people asking him to confirm that it was not intended to be a nazi salute. Deflection, jokes, ridicule, and tacit approval. All served to bolster the white supremacists watching -- and this, for sure, was intended.

The red boxes distract you from the part tthat really oughtoought to be highlighted: the part where they admit they are, despite their name, actually fighting against human rights.

can you give some examples of things that would count as world news to you? I would think world news is stuff that affects everyone throughout the world. U.S. politics affects everyone quite a bit.
