It's a lot like Gumball.

Babies are made...

I think that's the consistency.

I think the best way to respond to this is pointing out that you have pointed out, I think, the only way the Mirror Universe might not be as bad as some of the other options...

So... I don't think the Mirror Universe is supposed to be a goal?

By hoping to survive WWIII...

I forgot that Gaben is literally all of Valve.

I'm not here to lick Gabe's boots, I'm here to point out that sometimes, companies do good things. There are a lot of people making money and doing development at Valve, almost none of them are Gabe, but I guess fuck the laborers because their CEO consolidates money and fucks around on the Stock Market.

Yes, Gabe is included in Eat the Rich, but the people that work at Valve shouldn't be held accountable to to his faults. Conflating the Labor with the Owner is a take though.

Especially because they are literally known for creating things that sell at a loss and learning profound lessons from the thing they sell.

Also, they're the most progressive group to not engage in Patent warfare since Volvo made the 3-point seatbelt.

Valve knows how to help an ecosystem grow and pays attention to it's user base.

Probably point to point WiFi, either for an office in LoS or for a wISP.

If they're super progressive they might also be letting some hobbyists put a LoRA rig up there.

It's not rude, on the other hand, I played these games then... I enjoyed these games then... I do not enjoy them now...

The only MMO I can still enjoy is Neocron. There's an element to actually needing to obtain mastery that doesn't involve button mashing that I miss from my games. Actual targeting, puzzles and dungeons where having an understanding of the lore is beneficial... that kind of thing.

Well, I just found what to do with my free time in the next couple days! Thanks AngryishHumanoid!

It's OK, it's been SUPER modernized. The controls still work, but that old feel is missing.

So I have been trying to scratch an itch I don't know if I can still scratch. Are there any MMOs that still exist that use numpad movement, have a clunky UI, and really let you immerse in the game (I'm talking about the good old fashioned run across the continent to do anything days. Like Ruins of Kunark days.)

Fair point, fair point. :-D

I have to ask: Did you scream this question at the top of your lungs?

So, first, my tattoo is covered by long sleeves, and I will rarely walk around without sleeves. However:

I am on my way to Germany in a few days (Blue card and all!) to start work, and I have a Klingon Trefoil tattoo on my left forearm (It was the first of many planned Star Trek tattoos on that forearm, with the IDIC and the Starfleet Delta coming soon). I have been working myself into a frenzy worried that people will immediately think I am some sort of fascist for having this tattoo either because it's Klingon or because they won't know what it is...

Do I actually have anything to worry about? Or should I just get it removed/covered?
