I am currently reading The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco.

Thought about reading it in Italian as I am fluent enough, but boy am I glad I am not. Even in English it’s quite the read.

While I understand some of the criticisms around the various diatribes Adso goes on, I think it adds a nice texture. I think the Aristotelian dialogue is fascinating and paints quite a cool picture.

I built an ad-free vegan-places directory and scored every city by vegan-friendliness. Looking for feedback on the methodology. in c/vegan@lemmy.world

Dang, Lulu Green isn’t listed for Boston. It’s been regarded as the best vegan restaurant in the city!
