When my parents find out what my mates look like, they become suspicious of them instantly, or dislike them, even if they were fine with them until they saw what they look like.

I’ve asked an AI to make an image based around the aesthetic my mates have since I ain't posting actual photos of them for their privacy and to be respectful. As you can see they’re completely normal looking so I have no idea what’s triggering them.

There are some odd things about this story.

Lots of stories lately of people drowning in canals but they seem to avoid the obvious question which is, why didn’t they just stand up? And the channel depth of canals includes the silt layer which covers the actual bottom, which can make canals a few inches shallower in places. There’s a myth that silt deepens canals, when it does the opposite.

Canals in the UK are still water, and do not have currents.
