You are delusional and don't know anything about my position.

Ukraine caused billion-dollar damage to Russia. Last year Ukraine hit several aircraft, which was economically damaging. Lets accept that Russia is a sick man but still continue to fight.

i feel that the emphasis on skin color gives fascists an easy way to dispute it by making their few non-white members the public face of their organizations.

That is right

Ukraine’s military momentum at risk as dwindling interceptor stocks leave it vulnerable to Russia’s winter campaign

There is no fair system; rich families' children don't fight, so why would other men be willing to fight and die? There is too much corruption, so men naturally doesnt want to fight, but it doesn't mean they don't like their countries. Corruption is the biggest enemy. The same problem exists in the Russian army. The majority of the Russian army are from poor families

Your objection doesn't provide any proof that I have a bias. You should carefully read the community's main point. I deliberately share Ukraine's and Europe's corruption to create balance. Because the media is controlled by the Western world, almost all of them show Ukraine's good side and hide its bad side.

I deliberately do not share posts that show the bad side of Russia, because it is clear; I don't need to repeat:https://lemmy.ml/post/50532969

But we need to show Western people that Europe, the USA, and Ukraine are not pure. USA and Europe are imperialist, at least like Russia.

When Western media start to show the imperialism of Europe and the USA, then it is totally fine to stop posting.

This last month we made a new stable release which significantly reduces RAM usage.

For 1.0 we fixed a few ActivityPub related issues, merged a change so that images are downloaded with correct filename, and worked on updating Jerboa.

In the upcoming weeks, we'll be devoting more time to getting Jerboa ready for 1.0, and continuing to fix any issues in the new code.

You can follow our development progress with these milestone links:

If you'd like to see the new features and visual updates in production, you can visit voyager.lemmy.ml which deploys updates every night. Please help by testing the new features and reporting any problems.

If you have any experience with web development or want to learn it, consider contributing to lemmy-ui. It is written in standard Typescript with Bootstrap. If you have experience with Kotlin or Android development, you can help contribute to Lemmy's open source Android app, Jerboa.

Thank you to everyone who has helped out with finding bugs, testing, development, spreading the word about lemmy, and building communities. Your help has brought lemmy from an idea to one of the most vital pieces of software in the fediverse.

Here are the major changes from July:

An open source project the size of Lemmy needs constant work to manage the project, implement new features and fix bugs. Dessalines and Nutomic work full-time on these tasks and more. As there is no advertising or tracking, all of our work is funded through donations. Even so there is barely enough time in the day, and no time for a second job. The only available option are user donations.

To keep it viable donations need to reach a minimum of 5000€ per month, resulting in a modest salary of 2500€ per developer. If that goal is reached we can stop worrying about money, and fully focus on improving the software for the benefit of all users and instances. We especially rely on recurring donations to secure the long-term development and make Lemmy the best it can be.

China is communist. It is a government-controlled capitalist. But the government still has the majority of control

The leadership of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support reports an incident involving an attack on a TCC service vehicle that occurred on May 5, 2026, in Odesa.

During the transport of persons liable for military service to the Odesa mobilization center for undergoing a Military Medical Commission (MMC), two civilian vehicles blocked the movement of the service transport, after which a group of unidentified individuals damaged the vehicle’s windows and sprayed an irritant gas inside the cabin of the service vehicle. These actions created a real threat to the life and health of the escorting servicemen and the individuals who were inside the transport.

The nature of the attackers’ actions may indicate premeditated conduct carried out with the aim of facilitating evasion of military duty by a group of persons liable for military service, three of whom, taking advantage of the situation, fled the scene. Such actions may be classified as intentional obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The leadership of the Odesa Regional TCC is initiating a request to law enforcement authorities to identify and bring to justice all individuals involved in organizing and carrying out the unlawful actions. All participants in the incident will be identified, and their actions will be classified in accordance with current Ukrainian legislation.

A tug of war ensued between Ukrainian civilians and TCC officers during busification. In the end they managed to successfully kidnap the person and pepper sprayed the others

In Odesa, a shawarma shop employee saw the TCC coming after a man and told him to get into the store quickly. The guy did not even notice that the TCC was after him.

No, if I were to keep sharing posts that serve your agenda, would it also be biased? Give me any proof that I have a bias.

[–] bookcover@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 week ago (5 children)

I know, you keep saying that, but your bias comes off pretty strong.

Tell me, what kind of bias?

After the war, Russia will need highly skilled manpower to surpass or catch the Western world technologically. As I know, dozens of them left the country and are currently living in Europe or the USA
