The forks were made to use homebrew apps.
Or something else, there's quite a lot of ways to make this work without the whole games thing
So basically, 2+ is now not a fixed price.
But it's google, so this somewhat incredibly irrelevant information is still somewhat annoying.
Just because they said it doesn't mean the new use of the code has the same purpose. Perhaps this fork can claim to be for homebrew apps, for example.

We're going to be seeing a lot of these. Until people decide on which fork gets to be 2zu, don't expect anything from these.

Yeah, but it'd become a niche instead of the game that every kid plays. And, of course, updating lets them sell more stuff on their marketplace.
