The older I get, the less I want to learn new competitive games because I just don't have time anymore. It's just nice to go back to something familiar every now and then.

Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned on Monday as thousands of protesters defied a military curfew and stormed her official residence, sparking violence that killed at least 20 people according to local police. Army chief Waker-Uz-Zaman confirmed in a televised address that Hasina had left the country and that an interim government would be formed. Hasina's resignation comes as deadly protests over the reintroduction of a quota scheme for government jobs began in July this year.

Easily one of my favorite games ever. It's such a good way to relax.

I have one SSD which I use as a data drive between both Linux and Windows. I used to run Steam games from it, but there were some small problems sometimes, so nowadays I just use it as a storage.

Generally it works just fine, but sometimes Windows does something weird with it especially when running updates, so that Linux can't mount it. During those times I just have to boot to Windows desktop and then come back to Linux and it usually mounts again. If you totally get rid of Windows, I don't think this will happen to you though.

My guess is that they just want to separate GOG and their game accounts from each other because they are easier to manage that way. I think in legal sense GOG is still a separate corporate entity even though it's owned by CD Projekt.

I always found it kinda sad that Destiny has a lot of lore, but if you are a new player / returning player you can't experience the lore that you have missed because it's just removed from the game.

Earlier this year I had a months long issue where my desktop image would freeze if I set its refresh rate higher than 120. I thought my GPU was breaking up, but I finally found a post on the Nvidia forum where someone else had the same issue and realized that it was because of the newest driver. It took months for Nvidia to fix that. Two months ago I just decided to switch to AMD and sold my Nvidia card and haven't had any issues with AMD so far.

There was probably some pressure as the game was in development for a really long time it got already delayed by almost a year, but I also feel like it has a lot of design choices which aren't great. The development started right after Fallout 4, so I feel like 8 years of development is a pretty long time and if it had to be rushed out, there had to be some management problems. Feature creep is probably what especially happened, because there are so many game mechanics and features that don't really have good impactful use cases.

Not to spoil anything, but the story and lore is pretty meh. There's really no real sense of exploration like I have felt in Elder scrolls or Fallout. There's just too many loading screens all the time (This is probably an engine limitation, but something that should have been realized in the early phase of development. Probably not really something you can change later). There's a lot of sidequests, but most are just boring without a real story behind them.

The AI is just dumb and once you play for a while, the battles just doesn't challenge you in any way even on higher difficulties. The outpost system just doesn't make sense. It's not like there's not enough features in the outpost system, it just doesn't make sense to use it properly. The stealth system often doesn't make sense and is not useful in any way.

And to not to end it too negatively, I still liked the game. It's just frustrating because I see so many potential game mechanics around me while playing that don't really make sense to use.

Uefa has been accused of presenting “completely untrue” evidence to its own independent inquiry into the near-disaster at the 2022 Champions League final, to protect its safety and security unit – headed by the president’s best friend – from criticism.

Reddit has banned many piracy subreddits in the past which shared copyrighted material. r/soccerstreams being a huge one.

If you don't like it, don't use it. I like it so I use it. I don't have to validate my choices with things that don't matter.
