i just installed bazzite on an A6-6400k system and it works really well. i first installed Fedora, but an amount was missing to get my 1030 running for media decoding. Yeah this system should be sent to the grave, but it's working and doing what i need.
I also run this on my daily laptop and works very nice.
i have a 7, it's very nice. 8 or 9 should be even better, but if shopping used the 7 is very affordable.
maybe get a premium refurbished pixel 7/8 from back market. i have a 7 currently and it's fine. Battery could be better but everything else works.
i picked up a free protector that's only 720 resolution and works perfectly for watching movies. just find an affordable one used and you'll do fine. Don't forget to check thrift stores.
im not even sure how we can get replacement parts, which (aside from price) is keeping me away.
tailscale worked some times, but seemed to depend on the location of the moon relative to the air speed of a nearby sparrow and it was really slow.
what did you use for your 2fa codes? Most of mine are in google authenticator and I would likely need to migrate them first.
