Testing a Samsung phone after using a Pixel. When charging overnight, the Pixel charges to 80%, then pauses until soon before I have my alarm set.

Does Samsung have a feature like this? I don't see it

Yeah can do this with settings and Samsung's modes and routines app, although I don't think you can link it directly to your alarm. So I have that normally the battery protection setting is on. This limits charge to 85%. I then have a routine so at 6 am it turns off battery protection and another routine so that was soon as the battery reaches 100% battery protection is turned back on.

I'm not sure about the pausing and continuing after an alarm, but I have a setting that hard caps charging at 85%

Ive seen that one but, I'm often out all day so I don't wanna be capped at 85 as it may not last

there are apps that could do this, but they require root access
