Honestly, thought Elneny did really well.
He almost got one of his specials
Would've absolutely loved that to put us ahead of City on GD (for the moment).
Still the best Egyptian in the league, regardless.
I think our subs did well to keep moving the ball around and have some attacking threat.
Didn't need to do much else except keep a clean sheet.
Tied GD with City (one game in hand) and 1 behind Liverpool
This and the palace game could prove instrumental come the end of the season
Great win, a statement win. What I'm actually glad is we didn't take our foot off the gas, we tend to have that issue and that Liverpool win I think injected so much more confidence and ruthlessness in the team.

100% agreed. I don't mind just keeping possession and rotating the ball. But, one slip and then you're on the back foot and inviting pressure which can swing momentum
And I'm quite pleased Nwaneri held his own, no wonder they gave him the armband in training. We got something special cooking with this boy.
Curious to see him develop more and he's still only 16 (for the next month or so)! With the way he composed himself could easily have been 18 or older...

Cedric, Elneny and Nwaneri came on must be the ultimate insult.
Appreciate that Arteta put Elneny on with Nketiah and Nelson instead of with Cedric. Honestly not opposed to extending his contract, very loyal servant and good dressing room presence who can be just slotted in if Jorginho has injuries.

I was at my neices birthday and would duck out every ten minutes or so to check the score. I somehow managed to miss every single goal. Gutted.
