It's probably more because I don't allow telemetry and I doubt I'm alone.

How? They use image pulls.
Didn't see them mentioning image pulls (correct me if I'm wrong), and doubt "weekly devices" would be measured by image pulls. That is if you are talking about bazzite image in first place. So I think it is from their telemetry, so real number is probably higher. And no I don't use bazzite myself, but glad Linux is getting more popular.
You're right, they inherit and use Silverblue's countme for active user telemetry.
I think you and @StoneStar@feddit.nl are missing some context. Bazzite is an immutable image-based distro. These stats are just measuring how many people are downloading updates.
I dual booted bazzite and split my storage with a update broken windows 11 install. I haven’t used windows 11 for over a month or so now.
I seem to have nothing but problems with bazzite, personally. Probably because my living room pc set up is so weird. Thinking I'm gonna have to switch to cachy or maybe steamos if they get their Nvidia support under control.
I had a very rocky start a few years back, now it's mostly fine.
Except the scanner, that SOAB will work flawlessly or stop being recognized at all for no reason.

I love how solid Bazzite is. Everything I’ve done so far just works.
