I get his point. Using AI to recompile (or whatever it actually does) does not guarantee, or even care, if the game is actually recompiled in it's original image.
But the masses don't care about stuff like that, only die hard fans and devs do. But people who were born 10-20 years later doing their retro gaming phase won't notice or care about the difference.
It does bring up the question, why should they?
Nah, most of these AI decompilation projects go nowhere because most of the people currently using AI for it don't know what they're doing
