I don't know if the people supporting capitalism are inherently hypocritical, the system does what it says on the tin. I think they are more evil, but I don't think they would really blink at the fact that their wealth is built on the backs of others. That's kinda the whole point.

Also, industrialization is not inherently capitalist or socialist, it's just an advancement in technology. How you organize the labour that operates the technology, and how you distribute the production value is what really matters.
