Are we starving so much that we need to make word for word reposts off of reddit? I'd rather these posts not be here to be honest, or at the very least, tagged as bot content so it's automatically filtered out if show bot posts is unchecked in the settings.

Just on the top tray, the outside bowls are facing the wrong way, there's a cup under the clear storage container, with the container facing the wrong way, and towards the front and center you double stacked bowls, also facing the wrong way.

I have never seen a home dishwasher that you plumb into hot water, they usually have their own heating elements for better temp control

Top of the line vs medium of the line. My old dishwasher I could load however I wanted and it would get clean, can’t double stack with this one.
I think it’s how the spray arms are designed, my current one has 6 holes per arm, where I think my old one had 18 or so.
But, in order to believe this, she must have had a dishwasher that she could load that way, no?
I suppose it's also possible yours was the only dishwasher she'd ever used, washing dishes by hand otherwise.
My parents never owned a dishwasher, they had four kids. We were the dishwashers.
