That really doesn't seem right. I would have assumed Canada would have fought withe the EU without needing to be a member. That's literally what NATO is for and we were all onboard with that.

Well, we did already have to do that once before.
It won't be like being a full-member, but rather being able to form and build things beyond what we already have with them.
