Sousa said she did not know what conduct the employee was referring to.

“We've done nothing transphobic,” Sousa said. “We literally brought the code of conduct with us and have followed it to the letter.”

Brought the code of conduct with you, eh? Typical trolls looking for a fight and feigning innocence when they get called out.

Like wearing a "I have loud opinions about things I don't understand" T-shirt.

Propaganda works so fucking good. MAGAts are always making issues out of things that effect less than 1% of people, and isn't their business, into issues that people will start foaming at the mouth about. Classic 2-minute hate conditioning. Most Americans, at least in my area, read 1984 as seniors in high school, but I don't think they have the life experience to really understand it:

The horrible thing about the Two Minutes Hate was not that one was obliged to act a part, but, on the contrary, that it was impossible to avoid joining in. Within thirty seconds any pretence was always unnecessary. A hideous ecstasy of fear and vindictiveness, a desire to kill, to torture, to smash faces in with a sledge-hammer, seemed to flow through the whole group of people like an electric current, turning one even against one's will into a grimacing, screaming lunatic. And yet the rage that one felt was an abstract, undirected emotion which could be switched from one object to another like the flame of a blowlamp.

Hate used to control and maintain power, not anything else. No values other than maintaining power.

Assuming a "blowlamp" means a blow torch, I'm not aware of them being omnidirectional. A more effective simile'd be something that builds pressure internally to be released through select aperatures, according to preferred targets/results, IMHO. That way, the subject is still an object (lacking consciousness, will of its own) and directed by outside persons. (ie. turd reich) 😁

Great reference.

Yes, this is transphobic using the same logic as how a group of people wearing Klan Regalia is racist.

More fucking mindless tools who enjoy playing the bread and circus culture wars while the people they voted for fuck their lives over on a daily basis. I hope they got beat down as well.

I've been around a minute, and I gotta say: they hardly ever do. 🧏🏼‍♂️

That sounds like overreach on unfortunate branding.

a brand that says sports should be designated on the basis of sex.

Nevermind, fuck them with hammers.

“We've done nothing transphobic,” Sousa said

, on the basis she knows the label is undesirable but doesn't want to feel icky for aggressively embodying what it fucking means.

Poor hammers. 🥲

They had nothing to do with "bang", "nail", "pound", "hammer", et al., becoming synonymous with sex. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Perfect timing with an elections coming up.
