You can afford 512MB? Look at King RAM, sitting all high and mighty in their computer palace.

Me, from the year 2030

Stupid time traveling brother in law!

Sigh. Did you get the Wall-E far chairs at least?

I'm afraid not, but we did get the American-sized soda cups. Diabetes is now the height of fashion.

the really funny part is that only americans will be in this situation now that the chinese are making their own ram. lol

I hope you're right. I'm looking at €669,90 for 64gb DDR5. In other words, no new PC any year soon, and my current is getting older. I hope it lasts.

It's a company named cmxt and they started selling their RAM to the world a few months ago.

However the Western world refuses to use it like they refuse green tech so only people outside the Anglosphere or Western Europe are going to get lower prices.

512MB? Oh, so your cure is to restrict the RAM so there's not enough to run an LLM. Makes sense... I guess.

Removes "warranty void if removed" sticker

There were boards that could hold 24 DIMMs. (Memory is fuzzy, but feels right.) Could still hit 12 GB.

What's the cure?
