No tankie talking points. That includes the classics (denial of genocide of Uyghurs, denial of ML dictator's crimes, campism, calling everyone you disagree with a liberal or CIA etc.) and general shit opinions (general genocide denial, antisemitism, racism, queerphobia, etc.)
MLs are not communists. They never actually worked towards it and there are some who don't even define it as a stateless, classless, egalitarian society. So MLs shouldn't be called communists in the first place. Calling hating MLs anticommunism will probably expose you as either a tankie or a right winger, both of which aren't welcome here.
Right-wingers, fash, nazis, nazbols etc. are not welcome! Right wing talking points (such as anti-woke, anti-queer, speaking favorably of far right figures, being anti-antifa etc.) will get you banned pretty quickly.
Please respect people's pronouns. Deliberately misgendering people repeatedly is going to lead you to have issues with the mods. Defending misgendering will get you banned.
No brigading. People caught brigading in this comm will be banned. Also we oppose brigading in other comms. Keep the discussions and stuff within the comm.
On near-east topics: Nakba is an established fact. The (ongoing) Palestinian genocide is a fact. Israel commits crimes against Palestinians. No anti-Arab (such as Palestinians and Druze) sentiments allowed (it falls under racism anyways). In regards to Israel, do not dehumanize civilians. Saying shit like "there are no civilians in Israel/Palestine" will get you permabanned.
Be kind to one another. Try to deescalate any fights.

This is also a reason why the DDR was a puppet state of USSR, by the way. There were no plans to build the wall when Ulbricht said that. He thought that at the time too and didn't think he was lying. But whatever, Ulbricht was less Important then many think. One day, the USSR gave the order to build one. DDR was obligated to comply with USSR. Done. This has nothing to do with Socialism. DDR and Ulbricht were just puppets.

Stalinists are not communists.

So its actually little bit deeper then just a classical lie from a Politician. Its more a Politican that was just a mask.

Stalin had been buried for 8 years when this happened. He is not a magic fucking boogeyman who causes every problem in the world.

Well, you are correct on that. That was my mistake! I'm sorry. Still, it was a puppet state of the USSR, and the order came from the USSR. I'm sorry for the mistake here. And I do not see Stalin as some magic boogeyman. He is not the cause of every problem. Are strawmen your thing? Aren't you able to just normally point out my error? I'm someone who actually is ok with it when people point out such stuff. That's always nice. Going to edit my comment. Thanks. Mixed up some years.

Stalinists are not communists.

If you don't see him as a boogeyman why are you still including such an irrelevant statement? The USSR had already begun de-Stalinisation under Khrushchev some 3 years earlier - The USSR is not synonymous with Stalin or Stalinism. Stalin and Stalinism had nothing to do with the Berlin Wall, but blaming him is knee jerk reaction for you.

USSR under Khrustchev still counted as stalinist, just not as extreme as under Stalin. The policies still had a stalinist flavor, but the politburo made less kneejerk decisions compared to Stalin. Albania under Hoxha was worse during the time Khrustchev was in power.

Also Khrustchev is still responsible for the suppression of the Hungarian uprising. And Brezhnev who had the Prague Spring suppressed still had some stalinist policies, though was a long shot from Stalin. Like both were a change from Stalin, but both still had pretty tough policies.

Well, because I see the rest of the USSR still as Stalinism. I don't know why you keep comparing Stalin to the boogyman; that's just ridiculous. This is no Disney movie with a good and a bad side. Politicians are not doing things because they are "evil monsters". You actually remind me of libs with that, tbh. They also talk like that about people like Putin. Maybe you don't understand what I mean by boogeyman; he's a mystical entity, a superstition, a spectre that haunts your thoughts - you associate the USSR with him far beyond his actual life or influence. Even once the government rejected him you still cling to his singular presence as the driving force, you buy into the Great Man Theory and lay all responsibility at his feet. You faux affability doesn't hide your lack of self reflection or your attempts try to deflect your perceptions onto me.

It even says in the rules that MLs arent communists. They never tried to achieve communism.

This comm is mainly for socialists to dunk on MLs (mainly Stalinists, Juche and Maoists).

Correction though: Stalin died in 1953. The wall was built in 1961. If anyone gave the command it was probably Khrustchev.

I'm a little confused why you point out the rules. I didn't tell that to you like you're a Stalinist or something. I got from your meme and from the community that you are against it, obviously. It just was a statement from me.
