Juan Branco is not the most reliable source sadly, yeah he would be under Mossad surveillance but also he would be the kind of person to make self-aggrandizing stuff up.

That's not how hacking works

It is. If you hack a device you can read write and remove data.

Assuming they have an interface in their hacking tool to inject data or maybe even an ai going rogue this is plausible.

You don't magically write peoples' phone number in their contact list by pressing the wrong button on your C2. There is no way this is plausible.

I see you've never actually worked in software before. We do stupid stuff all the time, and then ask who wrote this shit...check the diff blame...damn, there's my name.

There’s a chance this wasn’t accidental. Put powerful sus people in his phone. Leake to the press the good guy has been buddy buddy with villains all along, let the press slander him for you.

Did you know contact lists have a format you can export and load them as?

[–] xyro@morbier.foo -5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

If that make you happy to believe, go for it :)

It’s funny when they do this. The :) at the end is supposed to be dismissive and nya nya nya, but that behavior always shows up just before they start deleting their own posts.
