I have my subscribed, instance, and all feeds. But I was thinking it'd be nice to have a strictly news feed to check. Is there a way to make a second custom feed that I'm missing? I couldn't find anything on search so sorry if this has been asked and answered. I don't even know if this would be a lemmy thing or dependant on the app.

Also think it'd be cool if I could filter subscribed comms from my all feed.

Thanks!

Some third party apps and alternative UIs support this, but Lemmy will get this in the upcoming v1 release

thanks, multi-communities seems like a nice feature!

I think this is the multi-community feature they're currently implementing on Lemmy 1.0.0.

You can test it on voyager.lemmy.ml

I know Voyager can hide "subscribed" from your "all" feed. It doesn't do multiple custom feeds though. You could make a different user for your news feed. Switching users is as easy as switch feeds in most clients.
