The right will flip as soon as they get the messaging that they're supposed to. They now support child rape, so it's hard to believe this will be their breaking point.

It's indicative of the lack of benefit that LLMs are providing. If gen AI was providing tangible benefits to anyone, people would identify a need for data centres.

Big tech pays them, that is all they care about. In general (there are very few exceptions) a politician's only goal is to get elected. Everything else is secondary. Having loads of money helps getting elected.
